Most of the carpets a few years ago

Scandi thrillers serial killers out amongst the pines
Rising cost of funerals but really it’s all fine

Everything is fine

Many decisions weighing me down

Thoughts of the past that I meet with a frown
Hard times that left me stirred left me shaken

And there’s more of my past now than there’s left of my future

Why wouldn’t I be fine

But I don’t like these changes
Keeping up with other people’s bad decisions I have enough trouble with my own
Can’t work my mobile fucked up my Facebook profile
Take me to a darkened room won’t you please just leave me alone?

Could buy myself a Harley but I was never born to be wild
Or start a campaign to save the cave toad from extinction
Well the bugs can inherit the earth for all I care
Save for that still small voice that keeps whispering of songs unsung

One day I’ll leave this earth and reach the ether
When he asks me I will tell St Peter
Well I guess it was fine

You just have to cope I’ve been luckier than most it’s been fine

There’s really no point complaining it’s fine

There’s always someone worse off than you you really should be fine

You can’t have everything you want but it’s fine
